Before her life of climbing, Imogen was always fit and active, having been in a non competitive local swim club with her older brother and sister. Since quitting the monotonous life of swimming lanes over and over at the age of 12, she began what would spark her talent and career in rock climbing.
Beginning her training on an elite junior club, which soon turned into the High Sports Squad, at Alton Sports Centre, she soon left the comfort of the small wall to seriously push her training on the White Spider competition squad in 2013. The support from the squad and the coaches shifted her journey onto the Junior GB climbing team and to represent at the European competitions in her final year on the White Spider squad. Since leaving the squad at the start of her college years, she has moved up to the Senior GB Climbing team which allowed her to attend the World cup circuits for the first time in 2018.
Imogen has not only made a name for herself amongst the UK climbing scene, she has also participated in well known game shows such as Ultimate Beastmaster and Ninja Warrior. With experience behind the camera from the 2016 Honda Civic ‘Up’ advert, she made the Ninja Warrior course her own, breezing through to finals in 2018.
Imogen has now become a freelance coach, coaching the Oakwood Squad and is now coaching the Red Spider squad.
